Served the Atlanta community through various outreach programs. Partnered with existing Atlanta programs such the ATL Mission to help with their 5K to End Homelessness and The Table on Delk to help meet the additional needs of local children.
Performed free annual private outdoor shows for a community member who is immunocompromised and limited in her ability to go out in public . I know how important music can be to help lift the spirits of families dealing with major life-impacting medical conditions.
Provided free piano lessons to beginning student who was unable to pay for lessons.
Served the Town of Cary, NC by volunteering in over 55 community events including food drives, fun runs, community cleanup, and more. Attended info sessions on town government, history, and operation.
Led Public Art Walking Tours throughout downtown Cary, NC and manned Art Walk Information Booth at community festival in leadership role as a Teen Docent with the Cary Teen Council.
Volunteered at Triangle Robotics League middle school and high school tournament, assisting judges, teams, and leaders as needed to help insure smooth and efficient progress throughout the competition.
Individually recognized by event organizers as outstanding volunteer for stepping in to additionally fill roles of other volunteers who left before the end of the event.
Assembled hunger relief food packages as a volunteer for World Food Day with the international hunger relief group, Rise Against Hunger.
Rise Against Hunger’s record-breaking initiative that day resulted in a total of 4,992 meals collectively distributed to countries around the world to help combat world hunger.
Volunteered as arena helper and score runner. Reset robotics competition arena between rounds, delivered scores from arena judges to scorekeeper, assisted college teams with setup.
